Arbitration seems to be moving to virtual without the same hesitancy as mediation. I suggest that until there is an vaccine, ODR IS the new normal. ADRIC and the affiliates should declare this publicly, act as a warehouse for chat rooms about best practices, and publish a manual of best ODR practices for both arbitration and mediation. It is brave to come out and say so, but ADRIC should be the one to say it is so, and lead the way. And be seen to lead the way.

Setting fees for our services should not undervalue the costs of conducting online. For example the cost of a moderator who assists the mediator/arbitrator/facilitator with technology.
